I assume regs still fold waytoo much in BB at 50, so A4o should be okay raise BvB?
FLOP
I should cbet flop with A2-A4, check better aces
TURN+R
as played try to check down right.
Idea was to barrel T+R, rep 88+, A7 as this is reasonably near the bottom of my range
RIVER
I don't mind this at 25 and lower, people lolpanick bet 5x and pocket pairs and play them this way alot, guess I should give NL50 regs some credit at least and cf this card? |

A4o s def an open yes
As played im calling river cuz all the bds missed and he shouldn't be xbacking 67s type of hands on the flop as its equity is terrible, playabilty goes terrible and so does realization and he has plenty of other hands he can xback
Plus 67s has the options of bds here
For example 67s and K2s have nearly the same equity however the Kx type of hands plays much better as you can vbet a Kx easily
The guy s just most likely very passive and mostly bad postflop |

dont think this makes sense at any stakes ...
you say you're betting turn because you want to rep 88 and A7 ... but what exactly are you trying to get him to fold ? 5x, 66 and A8-AT? this is a very small subset of hands.
most of those wont even fold the turn since you don't rep anything (88+ should bet the flop like 80% of the time or more imo)
and you are still ahead of so much of his range.
i think you are over-thinking here and focusing on the wrong things. don't worry so much to make ppl fold. if u have sd value, try to get your hand to sd. if a reasonable spot to bluff comes up and we can get a reasonable amount of his range to fold, ok lets bluff now, but the way u r doing it here is just backwards. |
