Never rly worked out this spot...I'm guessing in terms of defending properly/balance
just flatting everything might be good vs that size?

I went by AKs oop, fuck it

cold 4betting is starting to get pretty common at NL25 these days

lol at 4betting AQ for value as standard .. that means you d have to 4bet around 9-10%
you could potentially make a case for 4bet/fold or 4bet/call in some spots but they are so rare its not even worth discussing at the stakes we re playing

in a regular 3 handed game i don't mind getting AQ in for a stack as long as im playing wide with the rest of my range in positional battles etc.

flat is fine, but u really think ur getting 3bet by better than AQ the majority of the time here 3 handed? i don't.

AJ is a much better example than AQ for what i was saying though, because i can 4bet fold AJ where as im prolly committing with AQ, so i would need stats or game flow to stand by that statement.

i like sooted aces to AJ for the example not AQ ur right dogmeat.

i'd like to see someone with a green star say stacking off with AQ in a normal 3 handed game on pokerstars as a mistake, i truly believe its 110% standard and its a situation you look to get into since you domiinate hands that 5bet jam with little to no equity.

Ryan Neilly   United States. Sep 26 2015 04:51. Posts 1639

k im done in this thread - im personally not scared of 4 hands, u can be, ur choice.

ah to clarify tho in 4-6 handed games i like the sooted aces/KQo and hands like AT/AJ to 4bet fold.

4bet/fold AJs ? sure seems legit best bluff ever ! lets pick one of the best 4 combos for 3bet def hands for 4b bluffs

4betting AQ (with the intention of getting it in pre) vs a guy who just 4b/folded Q's is prob not a good idea...

it can be "standard" and good but it can also be a massive mistake vs certain opponents

sometimes u make more 4betting aq. id never get all in preflop w/ it tho. not in any situation for any reason outside of somebody going literally insane.

first off A: i was really stoned so multiple posts

2nd off lol didnt see it was vs the same guy with the QQ lol

ok all im saying in theory is i will 4bet fold some of the higher tier hands OOP like sooted aces to AJ etc since nobody really gets in worse than AQ obv. since its 3 handed i can't really see myself folding AQ for 1 stack sb vs big blind, i can see it being +ev, not by a ton, but def a +ev move.

If i saw someone fold QQ tho i would never do it and i didn't read the names and see it was the same guy, i still haven,t going by timdawgs post lol

Marshall, in bvb and otb vs sb/bigblidn lag wars would you consider it?
