No solid reads on villain but he is 81/15 with a 1.2 aggression factor and seems to call a lot with a wide range. I feel like I put myself in a tough spot by betting on the turn. Should we have checked instead?
And on the river, as played what would you do?
Should we have made a blocking bet instead? |

yeah i agree that the way you played the turn made it really tough for you once he calls. not really sure how to approach this situation postflop. perhaps check flop and go from there?
river is a fold i think, we block the AKJ draws hard. he could have clubs but... i think we are at bottom of our range and should just fold. |

I realize he's a big fish, but I think OOP you might be making it a bit hard for yourself by betting flop... You're probably only getting 2 streets. IP vs a fish like this I think your line is great, OOP I think I go for c/c flop to start with.
As played, I dont hate a river call. You only have 1 club, the T is very significant as I think his primary value here would be QT that didn't raise flop or TT that didn't raise flop. You also have a 4 to block rare 47cc hands.
Vs a normal villain (and possibly even vs someone this loose and bad), you should definitely not bet flop tho, you're not pushing any equity at all vs continuing range. |

If we c/c here, what's the plan on the turn? |

Call again on good cards, fold on bad cards, turn into a bluff on river if he checks a scary turn card possibly, otherwise just try to showdown. |
