This does not play well as a call pre, especially when you end up oop multiway a lot. Would fold this, you're not even deep with UTG. But if you dont want to fold, 3bet is a lot better to clean up your outs and buy position. |

TianYuan, by "clean up your outs" do you mean make more clear what cards are actually outs, and what aren't? I haven't heard the phrase before. |

The lower the rank of your cards, the worse the draws they flop will play multiway* (or the hands you make, ie bottom 2). So not letting people in easily with some random Axx hand in the BB is nice for us.
*There's a big exception to this where if we are facing two very tight ranges (say UTG raises and UTG1 3bets), in which case low connected hands will gain a LOT from the two tight ranges interfering with eachother. |
