How nitty is this. I didn't want to call 3 way even with 16bb. I don't know I'm chip average and I would rather get a better situation to call a shove with my whole stack .

being suited gives you a couple more equity points, maybe dump AQo but this is a better hand. It is a $1 tourney where people are shipping way worse than they should. Not that close to the FT payjumps.

you will have 50% 3ways quite often and almost never worse than a quarter, don't think this is a fold after opening 40k

need like 28% for this to be +chipev, and $ev should be close at this point.

I guess you have the logic that you are better; have a healthy stack, and want to try to chip up w/o showdown, but I think this hand is too good

Understood. What do you mean by "Not that close to the FT payjumps"?

Final table payjumps. Payouts increase at a way higher ratio than they do earlier. It's worth it to gamble now for a better shot at winning a fat prize later, as opposed to earning a relatively small prize by playing super snug.

Final table - If you're faced with a tough situation where staying alive has a high % of increasing your winnings by a significant margin, folding isn't always bad in a spot like this.

Imo - play for first. I feel so gangsta writing that. West side
