personally, I think it's the latter. calling a more than pot sized shove on river with high card in late-ish stage of a tourney.. is very rarely a smart move.
I also think you should normally cbet this flop. |

yeah tourneys... ppl don't seem to bluff much. i guess the prospect of winning a big pot is trumped by the risk of losing the whole tourney, even if the play is overall +EV in the pure numbers sense?
also i agree w/ cbet flop, go for smaller size like 1/3 is fine imo |
