Genuine Compliment + Sarcasm I think. Pokerstars is not soft but it is for you. Therefore, you're a beast, which is boosting your ego. No offense intended.

And this set is different from previous ones mostly just good plays good hands except for that guy spewing off 500bb with AK.

But don't try to pretend it is not softer. U think fish, otb, katya are folding AK 3ways at 10/20 on the flop after they make a cbet and face a small c/r (edit: on A J 5 or w/e)? No.

how did he spew off 500bb? this reg is a world class player, who I found out to be a friend after I shared the hand in a group chat after posting here. there's no other option than a snap call with his exact holding with the limited amount of info he had of me from this match. There's no way I was folding vs him if our hands were reversed as well. Also, a lot his money was my money.

Looking at your hand history, your last known game stakes is $20 dollar sit and go. I have to assume you are no authority to judge the quality of regulars at 10/20, yet you talk like you are face crushing 10/20 on bovada. I'm not gonna say it's not soft, as the top russians aren't sitting around the clock, but it's very naive to think there's no other top tier regs playing on the site.

traxamillion   United States. Mar 20 2016 05:04. Posts 10468

i don't know a single high stakes player who posts hands themselves to forums. It is only railtards posting observed hands in nvg

i think u might be referring to a 50 huplo sng which i play for fun?

and no i don't have money to play 10/20 there but i'm regularly in the 100zone and 200zone pool when it runs and play some 400-60o ring.

never said u were bad either/quite the opposite but if those russians realize how much better these games are it would be worthwhile for them to head over.

traxamillion   United States. Mar 20 2016 05:12. Posts 10468

of course there are good regs im just talking about game quality in general. it is mostly american pros (a lot good, a lot washed up- doubt they have pio running around the clock like the lobby holders on stars). Shit i'll openly admit ur better than me but I just don't see the value in posting certain high stakes hands if the point isn't to get feedback or discuss them at all.

You basically posted a graph of you face crushing bovada which can be construed as you being great which is fine OR as bovada being easy which could potentially be a detriment to the fish/regfish crusher ratio and hurt our bottom lines. I doubt it really matters though so do your thing. Your hands are well played but i wouldn't say all the villains are playing optimally

lol some gold comments here

lol, so you think bovada is your entitled gold mine and want to keep it a secret for your self, yet you're bringing attention to it more than anyone else and starting a discussion on the softness of the site. well hey, i was banned from bovada/bodog 2years ago for winning too much and have been singing songs to every reg i know to play there. now that i got my account re-enabled, it only seems like i've only made a slight dent in the highest stakes from my singing. come on over~ water is warm

Bovada isn't even available for non-americans is it (legitimately anyway)? I'd assume most people already know about it.

Or is it just Korea specifically that is blocked ;d? Eitherway it says they do not offer services in my area.

lol @ 500bb AKs call being a spew, quite standard Andrew just had the perfect line, villain cant fold though

If anything is a spew its the guy that supposedly folded AQ where Andrew x/shoved river on xxQKQ , thats pretty terrible by villain

stars is blocked for americans; yet 100s-1000s are vpning there.

And if that 360bb river call is such a standard snap can you explain to me Song's bluffing range when villain holds AKcc? Doubt he has a ton of draws calling that turn pot so what he turns 88-JJ/QQ into a bluff always and V just has to snap?

not even saying it is actually bad it is more of a cooler as obviously it is hard for villain to have a better hand here than he does; it was actually me just doubting if Song bluffs enough here for it to really be a call. Not looking at the play in a vacuum or in software.

First of all, I find the hands enjoyable to see and potentially educational. Definitely think posting hands can help shed light on what the kind of thinking that very high-level players do, so thank you for that Andrew.

Trax man, I'm not sure if you are purposely trying to be ironic or not, but I think it is YOU who is bringing all the attention to Bovada about being soft, not Andrew. These are just hands posted, some of them very interesting or cool, not even marked as being on Bovada (I don't know much about different online rooms and which have anonymous games and which don't, I honestly wouldn't have known these were on Bovada until someone other than Andrew started talking about it), but it seems like in every few hands that is posted you thunder in with "holy shitballs omg Bovada is so soft fuck me jesus" followed by "Andrew stop drawing attention to how soft Bovada is." Somewhat comical to me; just my 2 cents of course

All I know is i was balling out of control on Cake Poker back in the day (when i was terrible at poker other than insticts- hadn't watched a training video or read up on any game theory AT ALL at this point) before word spread and the vultures swooped in and with the declining situation on Stars i'm fucking baffled more people haven't already been making their way over and the same shit is not repeating. Maybe its the table cap or people don't like not being able to datamine opponents but you can get around that first one at least. Last I will say on the matter since you are right I am now putting it on blast myself. GL all

Come on trax, you've been around here long enough. I always disliked it when people tried to dictate what hands should or shouldn't be uploaded.

I don't play poker anymore and the only thing that brings me back to this site is to look at some cool hands posted in the sidebar. Would be a massive shame if people stopped posting, especially sickos like andrew.

And tbh, even if andrew rolled out a banner that said how soft the site was, I doubt 2016 LP.net traffic would make a noticeable dent to your bottom line. Each hand gets about 50-100 unique views for the most part.

It's fine to post those hands, the hands aren't that soft looking + not so many people knew it was Bovada before traxa went on a rant to make sure everybody knew that 1. it was bovada hands, 2. the site was soft as hell

I understand his point and agree with it, it just completely doesn't apply here and chatting about it is so paradoxal.

Anyway, I don't agree AK is a snap in the 500bb hand, I'm pretty sure you are unbalanced as fk in the spot. But we will never know, those spots are pretty rare, that's a reason I also tend to not think it's a snap at all. But, with the little info/historic/game flow you had, not saying it's a fold either.

bovada is a good site, but so are all the others. acr is a lil tougher. WSOP.COM in Las Vegas is the EASIEST site in the USA hands down, by a long margin in my experience. Way better than bovada, although bovada is the best for almost everyone outside LV. I imagine Jersey sites are really amazing too. Theres 60/10 whales everywhere in those games.
