I make this type of mistake also, but you know this guy is terrible and a big calling station. Why make a marginal push in a situation like this? You can wait for a much better more +EV spot than this when you know this guy will be calling you with any number of hands where you will be at best even money or a slight favorite and at worst a big dog if he has an overpair with a higher diamond. There is no fold equity here, gotta accept it and wait for a better spot against this guy.
