I think leading both the flop and turn in the first 2 hands would be higher ev plays |

IIRC his fold turn after check flop behind was high coupled with a high cb and high delayed cb (off memory, it was a small sample tho so might not be enough to make this decision off of), so I went for c/r. I generally do not c/r the first spot very much either.
The second one tho, I think we want to c/r some hands like ours given that we can have a lot of big draws here... |

ya but wouldnt you rather just lead your draws on the turn to fold out his air and have a credible bluff on a lot of rivers if you miss and your made hands to not give a free card to his marginal draws and hands that he wont bet but will call with I dont think c/ring is a bad play but not necessary esp in zoom cause it adds a lot more variance to the spot but you dont really gain any ev |

Maybe but if I have some sd value with the draw I like checking it and c/r if it's strong enough. Anyway also like exploitatively c/r value here given high fold after cback.
I probably c/r turn too much tho. |

c/r for value is good if you know hes delay cbetting his air and marginal hands that dont improve a lot but I dont see many people doing it on this run out so I dont think having a high fold turn after checking back matters all it means is you get to bet your air/draws against him more otherwise you're just missing out on value from a lot of hands that dont bet but will call and I think theres a lot of those hands on this board
for draws with some sd value wouldnt you also rather bet because you're pretty much never getting raised here and to fold out his air that has 20-30% equity if you c/r here as a general game plan I think you'd be running into a range of hands thats stronger than the one you wanna start bluffing when not repping much
obviously if you have a good read on the guy then nevermind lol |

Nah not a good read, mostly unknown fish just had early indications of overfolding turn after checking.
I disagree about not repping much tho, as I still have many of my nuts in my range (as you see from these hands), and lead with more of the middle-high parts of my range (like JJ without diamonds for example, or JT, TT, draws that can't face a bet ettttttc). These hands want to play for all the chips if possible and I think check is the best chance of that happening.
However I think you're right that this turn is probably not delay cbet enough for this to be the best choice. |
