is it really normal to lose 50% of two pairs?

A7o in co prob right around breakeven; certainly bad from the hijack. if there were antes its better. I think the quality of the blinds plays in as well

Na im saying its around the point of breakeven, could be slightly profitable could be slightly losing im not exactly sure. Sometimes i open it sometimes i dont kinda depends on blinds.

Id say a9o is profitable and certainly a10o

A2-a5 are slightly better than a6/a7 according to pio

Not sure why not raising turn that doesnt seem like the board you want people seeing rivers for free on.

A2o to A8o shouldn't be profitable in tough games. In a vacuum opening them will definitely make money unless button is a crazy 3bettor. The problem with opening these hands lies in the fact we have to defend to 3bets OOP at a higher frequency, and defending 3bets when opening 30% or more is not easy for CO.

This river is a fold. What part of his value range are you beating?

PolarFox   United States. Aug 31 2016 07:17. Posts 103

77,22,A7s,A2s,72s,32s,8c7c,7c6c,A7o,A2o,72o,3c2d,3c2h,3c2s
im giving him this range here, really. due to table dynamics, i assume he's taking a stand against me some of the time, so i give him some mid/bottom pairs that have a club blocker as bluffs. i also assume he'd never check raise the flop with a fd since the ace is already on the flop.

never thought he'd have AJ there tbh. though, if he'd check raise with aj, id assume he'd shove the river with just top pair. let's assume he's not ballsy enough to check raise with pocket kings, but he also doesn't always 3bet pocket aces, he gets this range:
AA,77,22,ATs+,A7s,A2s,72s,KcQc,KcJc,QcJc,KcTc,QcTc,JcTc,A2o,72o,AdKc,AhKc,AsKc,AdQc,AhQc,AsQc,AdJc,AhJc,AsJc,AdTc,AhTc,AsTc,Ad7c,Ah7c,As7c
i put in the flush draws in there even though i don't think he'd ever check raise with one there since the ace is already out.
