Pity, I imagine the BR would have been increased by good 2-3% if the river bet was called. |

Hey, I'm pretty new to poker, so maybe this will be bullshit, but is this preflop call standard? I usually fold in situations like these, but that might also be why I'm not winning. |

fildun call to hit sets, positionally its not the best place to set mine from, but i see it being a bigger mistake than to just fold to preflop raise
blizzy, i got him in a hand not long after, got the 2%! |

Overall its slightly bad to call with this particular hand in this particular spot vs adequate opponents, but the games he s playing its fine, plus who wouldnt give 3bb to set mine wioho |

If blinds are good/sqz happy you can flat your TT+ JTs+ hands ~25-50% of the time to protect calls like these. This also gives your range balance/protection vs the PFR so he can't just destroy you on T-A hi flops either.

I agreed no gamble no future but this is not even close to a gamble -_-. Folding is more of a gamble lol.
Call is super +ev at this stake, A) you can outplay him post since you have position B) flop a set and stack him profit.

So you are saying we can get folds when we miss and stack him when we make our set. There is something wrong with this line of thinking.
Having said that, I agree that at these stakes we can probably get away with this. But it is in no way the slam dunk call you are making it out to be and hitting the fold button can't be bad.

Don't get me wrong, you are not winning 100% of the time. I am saying its a +ev call, burning money if we fold |

Its a pretty easy fold vs adequate opponents, not even discussable. There s no way you d make enough money even when you set when people think in ranges. Thinking about the dead money that you ll leave behind vs all of those sqzs also saddens me |

You want to fold a pocket pair for 3bbs in the cutoff? My head is about to explode |

I'm guessing its not gonna explode cause of too much knowledge about ranges. |

After conducting a detailed range analysis, I have concluded that you are a nit |

If its even close they will prefer to have the widest range possible in any given spot |
