snap fold
he even has better straights that might play the same way if he plays fd the same way

I'm never folding this spot with a straight it's out of the fucking question. He basically has 2, max 3 combos that beat you (AK, AQ flush, not even sure if he always checks them on the flop...) and he might turn AA or some other stuff with flush blocker into bluff

I think it's a fold based on what I think of the player pool's tendencies, if he's good/aggro and will actually be bluffing in this spot with some frequency then it's another story, what's his WWSF?

In these spots where you are not sure and ranges are narrowed down to very few combos you will find it very hard to have a reliable exploitative read. I would still overfold river but I wouldn't fold a straight because 1) you are still folding too much 2) he could be doing this for value with a chop or even badly played top set (bad players sometimes can do this stuff) 3) he needs to shove a random bluff at a too low of a frequency

i think it would be closer to a call with 97hh or ss. This combo is likely a fold. blocking those middling diamonds takes away a decent amount of his c/c range that isnt flushes.

Just call. If he somehow has you beat you'll make it back in 20 min.

I like it.

Yep and folding was out of the question vs his line.

I'd have a hard time calling if his line was bet bet shove... Bu will still call probably call river.

Cause he didnt use the conventional/logical way of playing a strong draw/hand ?

I dont see how we ever have enough equity to call here. Either way the guy is a bad player and we d have better spots vs him than making hero calls while praying to the poker gods. Obviously if we assume a conventional range here its a snap call, but there is nothing normal about this hand. I'd say JJ is the only hand he would spew like that with

Ac6c is probably the only reasonable combo (but I`m not sure if he has it in his PF resteal range), of course, some regs might play AK-AQcc that way, but It is IMO highly correlated with the metagame. His WWSF suggests that he is very nitty, but still with 2;1 odds, and very few flush combos, I would call.

Vanity definitely my favorite sin
