Not played PLO in ages but do you think turn is a slam dunk call? No chance of a fold there? |

No I've been thinking about the same thing actually.
Thought we needed to call without any clubs, but actually it might be the opposite and we should call with a high club because we can turn ourselves into a bluff on some rivers if he checks... Gotta be close tho given that he's very wide pre and quite aggro post. But yes I've been meaning to take a look at my range on the turn here to see if I need to call this.

Flop check-back might be worth considering as well imo.

Maybe yeah, if so bet with the club-having combos and check the non-club having ones.
We do have a pretty good equity edge vs his continuing range, but hand has very poor resilience to board changes so can almost only ever get 2 streets of bets anyway, and our equity vs his folding range is high enough that free cards isn't a big concern.... Ya, might like that. In general IP shouldn't slowplay top of range tho, imo, but this isn't really top of range when considering future street playablity I guess.
EDIT: Tho he opens 45% from co... kinda want to cbet vs that. |

Yeah, I've not played PLO full time in like 5 years or something and when I did I never played this deep or dabbled with the small flop sizing which probably makes you feel compelled to continue wider, but intuitively it just seems like a spot where pretty much every river is gonna blow, you're way behind his value range and he's likely to follow through on most rivers and play pretty well vs your exact hand. I can definitely see how things would change if you even had the lone Ac with your hand |
