Don't really get it. Is Katya not 4betting Ax enough? Looks like a punt to me. Or he's winning so many non showdown pots with bluffs like this to stay balanced. |

yes, he does have a ton of Ax in his range 4bet range if its a normal 4bet range, but it's really hard to make trips, and katya should be cbetting this board a ton. Personally I don't like his 1/3 cbet sizing, it should be a smaller imo. remember it's almost a min c/r, he is raising to $1300 to win $1800, it doesn't need to work often. it puts two overcards that katya has in a really tough spot, and if he folds them all to the c/r he is overfolding and being exploited. It's also a raise for protection, and he has a backdoor flush draw to go with it. Then of course on river he has a club blocker and seven high, one of the worst hands he can have so it should be in his bluffing range.
It is definitely not a punt, it is probably very close to gto |

linus has so few hands in his 3b/call range here in the SB that this is what he chooses for this line? interesting. would think any hand with a broadway card like Q/K would be better to block some Ax combos |

I havn't got a big sample, he call's 4bets here with with as weak as 46s, and as strong as AA. I'm sure he could do it with broadway hands but he actually has a hand here that he want's to protect, you arn't raising K high for protection, so I don't really understand why he would replace a hand like that over 77, they are two completely different hands that you would raise for different reasons.
