If solvers really show this as a correct line with AcKd here this is quite convincing evidence that OBORRA is using it realtime and just cheating. Same with that A8o handel where no human ever takes donkbet/call - donkbet line. Stars should improve their antybot security as times change and people will do this kind od things more often. |

I think the arguments that he is cheating with real time solvers in the high stakes hh's threads are quite convincing. Also, just looking over his preflop, in comparison to his postflop, is a big tell. He had some trivially un-gto preflop plays. So for example i saw him open 37o preflop hu against dammnerr, I can't remember the open size of the 37o hand but I think Libratus opened 85%~ for 2.5x. I just don't see high stakes players making simple mistakes like that when they can solve certain opening sizes for preflop, and just play that.
and yeah, some of the leading ranges are quite difficult for people to come up with, even for a player of top tier caliber, the A8o hand where he lead-call, then lead again on turn, is a very difficult range to construct-it's just extremely narrow with the range of hand's he is supposed to take that line with, and then he has to put that into his game along with the other 3 ranges of check call, check-jam, check-fold.
I used to play oborra at 500zoom about 4-5 years ago and they were considered one of the worst regs there as well, from what i remember.
I havn't seen any solver solution for this particular hand, but i'd be interested. I get a computer back with piosolver pro this week so i could do it then.
holdem is a dying game and someone should really be coming up with a variant of holdem that is too computationally complex for solvers to be created for it, so high stakes can be legit again. |

Imo system like in online chess should be implemented - you make too many 'computer' moves you get flagged and then if it persists banned. |

libratus plays waaay different than pio
so you can't compare the solutions, its fine to open 73o vs some players and you can also solve HU preflop with PIO

Way out of the poker loop, but when you guys say he's using "real time solvers", do you mean he's using regular solvers with a super fast computer? Or that he's built (or had someone build) a custom solver that sometimes takes less time by using more shortcuts/approximations/etc.in its parameters? |
