Name of tool? That looks fun you can do % of hand combos..
How does it figure out if you should raise or fold? Does it make assumptions of villan calling range ? HAS to right? |

using piosolver pro. costs $500 for 2 licences.
you plug in preflop ranges, stack and pot sizes, and postflop bet sizes and it tells u how to play an optimal strategy |

How does it work out what opponents would do with that range? you have to input right? |

you don't even specify who the opponent is, or who you are. It calculates for 2 players what their ranges should be for each decision you input into the decision tree |

Aaaa so its making the range balanced on river such that it doesnt matter if opponent calls, folds or raises (what size rasing tho? allin? cant solve for all i assume) |

GTO doesnt care opponents range, it assumes the opponent plays clarivoyantly and knows your strategy thus your strategy is unexploitable, on the solvers you input what sizing or if you one to construct your range with more than one size that often increases your EV but is hard to implement |

I think people are ridiculous with this GTO crap.
GTO is insane and i would say impossible to solve, people are just playing what they think is GTO which means people who are in the meta and adjust faster can make the most playing exploitive.

no one is thinking they are playing gto, they are trying to play simplified strategies that are close to gto, so maybe these strategies are a little bit exploitable, but not much. The way to adjust is to come up with a strategy that is closer to gto than your opponents 'near' gto strategy. And to exploit them for the tiny crumbs of ev that you can. we are actually at a point where the worlds best holdem player can breakeven for a year at 25/50 on stars.
yes its impossible to solve for many years to come, poker has something like 10^160 decisions |

how did you construct jinmay's range? does he overbet a ton of flops? I mean I can't understand why he'd have eg AJo here |

that pic doesn't say how many AJ he has here. It could be that 1/1000 AJ's get to the river this way.
same for Kx, if every Kx got to the river this way there is noo way he would be raising ever single one of them. Rather, there are very few Kx and he raise them all cause they block Kj |
