What should oborra be calling? How efficient and GTO do highstakes regs play 3 handed and with overbets on river?
I assume its very exploitive because based on reads and histories.
What should Obarra be calling with?
Need to be right around 37%. Our range is capped at 22, 44, 7x, 6x, 33, strong A.
I feel like calling with the like 78 75 56 45 33 etc will run into alot of value bet hands since our range is so capped.. What is the top 37% of our range here?
All 7X and some 6x? |

i very much doubt the sizing is based on reads and histories. It's just a good sizing for his hand and the board texture/runout. If the board ran out like 8spades, 2 clubs he might lead the river for 1/4 pot instead of 3/2 pot.
High stakes regs do not try to play gto, they try to maxmize ev, and one way of doing it is by playing a simplified version of gto, and/or a strategy that is close to gto but not quite gto. I think linuslove's random flop shoves are not very gto at the frequency he does it, but a lot of mistakes can be made vs it, so may be a good strategy, i'm not sure.
oborra's range is not capped that low, and there's probably no way he has 44. he has some Tx he should snap river with, people don't have capped ranges nearly as often as when you used to play, especially in single raised pots BU vs BB |

Whats changed why is the range on the river wider now? Why are people favouring to slow play and balance so much? |

if you always double barrel Tx there is probably some +ev in it, but you will lose more ev from never having Tx check back and capping yourself. so you should mix 2barrel and check back Tx, and pick the best hands to do it with |

anyone playing remotely close to GTO destroys everybody
You cant tell if a play is GTO or not, its very difficult to see, GTO very often is making huge overbets for example |
