not exactly, if he is betting 2/3 pot on river he is saying he can have some strong Jx, clubs, boats/str8's and wider bluffs range. If he was potting or overbetting, he would be saying clubs+/narrow bluff range. It's easier for red baron to play the river with one sizing here like this rather than range splitting.
it's a pretty difficult for linuslove to have clubs on the river, my estimate of his range is he can have like KT/K9cc, AT/K9cc, and K2cc, A2cc, maybe T2cc, that's it.
piosolver much prefers 66% cbet on flop than 1/4 pot.
Linuslove should c/r all in river with Aj as a bluff, and this should get called by AJ as a bluffcatcher and boats. lol

i don't really trust my sim for this hand too much cause it changes quite a bit whenever i adjust the tiniest variable. Before it was jamming all AJ on river. im assuming because it blocked bluffcatching range and boats. pretty weird to not just call with them though.
I changed it and now it is turning all Q8s into bluff, and any A2 into bluff, and its turning Tc8, 9c8 into bluff, and flatting all Jx including AJ. seems much more reasonable.
it actually raised non club A8 hands on river as a bluff, and flats with Ac8, since Ac8 removes value hands from their range it is strong enough to bluffcatch, and A8 is not strong enough to bluffcatch but is a reasonable bluffhand with it's blockers

I need to play with piosolver i need to understand the assumption it makes.. it feels scary if all the regs use it and maybe some regs know the spots where it doesnt solve well or can somehow exploite (because it made poor assumptions) and its not true equilibrium. |
