He needs to be 3betting ALOT of suited hands or barreling turn with ALOT of highcards to make this river overbet GTO imo. |

I thought he might be sizing turn in a way where he can just bet his whole range again haha, but you lose too much ev doing that. I can't see this strategy being exploitive vs a good player like linuslove, and i can't see it being a simplified strategy, you can't do it with whole range, you have to split range into checks and bets no matter what your sizing is.
gto is: Jam AQdd, check AQss. check all AJs on the river. |

Im pretty good at approximating GTO on the fly imo. =)
I do think it depends on dynamic.. Maybe LLinus was extra cally or he was extra bluffy which shifted the AJ into a shove. |

this hand is as standard as it gets and the shove is not even close on the river |

You are not, GTO is very often counter intuitive, almost alwys split ranges and uses multiple unorthodox sizings |

I was giving a simplified answer, the solver check's a lot of Ax on river, range explorer has turn barreling range and turn flatting range to be basically every Ax they have in their preflop range, but there are a lot of pairs, 2x, 4x, pps, that get put in in a difficult spot after the turn barrel, so the solver checks a ton of Ax to protect their c/f range.

I think turn barrel sizing would work very well at the lower stakes because people would overfold. |

And why should I take your word for it? I will bet you I am way closer to GTO 7 years ago compared to you today. Just because you learned the fancy GTO theory in recent years doesn’t mean I didn’t know it long ago.
The fact that you constantly nut hug how good GTO is makes me realize how little you understand the minds of hsnl players. This GTO stuff is 101 for someone like me, please stop embarrassing yourself.

I will frame this as a reminder how ego can drive us to make a huge ass of ourselves.
I was going to make a big reply pointing out how unvelibably stupid your post is but I wont, I'm not sure if this is funny or just sad.

You are talking down to me like GTO is some new amazing concept which is ridiculous. Game theory has been applied to poker in the earliest of days. |
