Posts 2598 its interesting, probably his thinking is like this 1. blocks alot of hands that will call turn/river (Tx) 2. opponent likely has overbet strategy on rivers here if it goes chk chk and he might want to be able to show up with easy calls vs huge river bets 3. might expect villain to have alot of overcard floats and this plays well vs those (they fold turn but may bluff river or pair up) idk
