Even though there isn't a lot "worse that calls" (although there are Kj and kq suited and draws that do call behind) there is good money in the pot and you protect equity. Plus this turn card is so much better for your range and he raises nothing on turn in this spot (how can he raise a 9 when you have 16 AK combos he doesn't and he won't even have k9s combos most likely).
