Another simple spot - getting value from sets.
Thoughts: 2 callers preflop, unsure about the cbet size of half pot. I think any Qx will also call a larger sizing, as will flush draws and KT, T9 hands. I think on a Jd5h2d flop sizing at half is better as then some underpairs may continue whereas on this flop underpairs are not likely to continue against 2 overcards no matter the size.
Turn: I considered overbetting the turn, likely only 55 and AQ/QJ (unlikely holdings) that continues now but protects against draws. Also not sure what I would balance the overbet with (yes I know I don't need to balance at these stakes but curious nevertheless).
River: My reasoning here was to make a small bet to get called by 55 (maybe some Qx) and fold to any raise.

I guess my question is how much do I want to protect against bad runouts (d,8,9,K) with my betsizing on the turn vs maximise value by keeping more hands in opps turn calling range?

yeah you are correct to think about bet bigger on flop, Qx is going to call 2/3, 3/4, and very likely pot size. and you want to charge draws.

imo you have to be careful bc people may not turn stuff into bluffs much at these stakes, but I think they are induced to bluff more vs small sizings like on the river. A ton of people will snap call 2/3 river bets with good or even shitty queens, you're probably giving the pool a ton of credit by thinking they only call here if you bet 1/3. Just try bluffing a lot at and you'll see the most ridiculous hero calls, that will immediately make you want to start potting for value.

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

@lebowski, that's true but people also love calling down with draws at this stake, so I expect the flush quite often here and I choose to protect a little against it by sizing down on the river bet. If the flush/straight didn't complete then I would definitely size up my river bet for JJ (and for my own missed draws with no showdown value) as opponents hands are now polarised between TP+ and air.

Your bet size should be based on your hand(or range) against his range on x board. What you are afraid he has shouldn't factor.
