Badly played hand, and the K on the turn didn't help.
My question is, is it possible to have a check-fold range on the flop after 4betting AK? This flop is just so good for their range, I estimate we have less than 30% equity against a standard 4bet flatting range.

yeah turn is a 1/3 bet or check. even though you hit top pair the only hands you get value from on turn will be pair +straight draws and im guessing regs at this limit dont really 3bet call 4bets with KTs/JTs/AQs very often at all. This guy seems very weak so 1/3 bet can be fine. of course you can make check-folds. Make that judgement based on the relevant factors. This isn't a typical check-fold spot.

I dont understand the line after the flop. I think the turn is always a check with this hand

I wouldn't even 4bet pre in these positions unless the guy is 3betting aggressively. Trying to get in AK pre when they have a very tight 3bet range is not a great strategy
