Annoying, I was about to quit my session. Anyway, I was playing around with this for the first time and configured my hotkeys on Stars.

I'm not big into solvers cause I'm retired and can't imagine playing with them unless I was really grinding a lot, but I like a smaller bet on flop. This is the kind of flop that's really bad for his range and you should have a bit of a polarity advantage here. So I think you should be betting a high frequency with a small sizing, something like 1/3 pot near 100% of the time. You're never folding either with the open ender and over pair. |

Hm well yeah this flop is better for my range than his, but I assume Solver probably has oop checking most of his range, and probably has him range checking. Even with the equity I gain from the flop hitting me harder than him, he is still likely ahead in equity by a small amount//close to even on the flop with his overpairs and what not. At least that was my logic on choosing a larger sizing. I'm not sure why I chose to overbet rather than just a large bet.
For the record I haven't worked that much with Solvers either though I am trying to again for the millionth time as I am playing alot more lately! |
