Been game selecting higher and doing well so far. Main focus still is just getting better at poker though.

This guy is one of the more well known regulars on StarsNJ. Pretty funny he plays alot of tables across limits and there are times he is playing 2knl and 100nl at the same time lol.

He has very solid preflop stats, a 50+WWSF and very healthy redline over 4k hands. I was kind of lost at some point in the hand on the turn, then realized this is a spot where whatever bluffs or bets I have I will need to be using alot of unnatural bluffs. Then I thought this hand is a pretty good candidate for whatever bluff, since I block KJo,KJhh,J9hh not to mention I gain alot from whatever hands I fold out. I was messing around sizings on the turn but I had a bad connection and didn't have alot of time bank left and it auto-checked me. When he bet I still thought I could make the bluff work and jammed pretty quickly.

edit: Hm I guess KQo, KQs, KTs, QTs, Q9s are very similar hands to my hand here but I only thought in a vacuum my hand is good for bluffing here without considering what I do with all those other ones.

whenever I'm in a spot to do an unnatural bluff the first thing I do is look at my blockers

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen
