Honestly, get value for what I thought was the best hand in the heat of the moment. In hindsight, I was a bit tired and somehow my brain did not register how value-heavy his range was here. Live and learn... |

folding river on any nonclub also seems gross. Is that the plan? What rivers do you call a shove here?
If you're folding to anything except a club you need to be folding to the turn raise

Yea i fold a lot to a river jam. Sometimes they cr turn as a bluff n give up river |

His turn bet sizing is perfect because calling this forces me to call down his shove on any non-straight or 2p completing rivers (ex: 5-9o, K-Qo), which makes me realize - with the benefit of hindsight ofc - how badly I need to either check back turn or bet bigger and gold to shove. Is my thinking accurate ? |

Same, which is why I will be adjusting my turn play drastically from now on as calling Villain's raise commits me to calling safe river cards most of the time, I believe. |
