honestly this is a totally fine spot to introduce checks on flop. Our range would not like to be high frequency here. So many of our hands would prefer to check. Your hand speicfically can play fine if you want to have a betrange which arguably you would still want. If so though i would likely be checking this turn with it. Our hand cant barrel, and we are heavily blocking folds. Also our equity is dimiinished now that 9 is counterfit if we hit. It can play fine as ckcall or ckraise on turn with this specific hand. Ckraise to steal equity from draws and such though i would likely lean towards checkcall depending on opponents. Betting turn rly doesnt play very well IMO with this hand class. His range should be really filtered down to only flushdraws and Qx with a few other random hands occationally by turn and we dont get any of those to fold very much so then we have to ckfold blanks. Fwiw i would definitely have folded river. We block very heavily and even JTcc here isnt pure in his spot. He likely should be raising flop or turn a decent amount. So we really dont beat almost anything when we ckcall. we block A9cc J9cc 9Tcc

Oh shit. i just realized its 40$ into 120... hmm ye that makes it really gross. It might actually be a call on river. Makes me like the turn even less than tbh. I would prefer OB jam to bettinng some other sizing if we were going to. Also would bring into question the flop sizing since it sets up a poor situation on turn and river. FWIW i wouldnt be betting more than halfpot here typically but these are not great players so balance isnt a big question. If we dont care we can easily just introduce like 20$ flop then shove turn
