Think it was all played relatively correctly or could some adjustments have been made?

your flop bet won't do any good I think.. I'd reraise such a bet with every hand (as do most people). 1000 on an almost 5000 pot, he will definitely call at the very least and then you'll still be in an awkward situation out of position.

You almost twin-caracked his AK - JonnyCosmo

id fold preflop. he isnt giving odds to hit a set with how much is left in his stack, and hes obviously got AA KK QQ, and in the rare event he has AK AQ KQ, overcards will flop alot of the time and u cant play it OOP.

Under careful consideration, I have decided checkfolding is the best move. The winner is asdf.

of coruse he is

1600 more to win his remaining 12k stack+the current pot+the antes+the blinds?

thats like 1:12+ if you hit your set, and you can win with just a pair of jacks as well

If AQ/TT are in his range, I might lead and fold to a raise. If not, check/fold.

people raising into preflop raisers are full of bs or just weak 95% of the time.

occassionally u'll get a dumb fish that actually tries to waste ur hand...

but ur gunna get that re-raise from almost any decent poker player

bitch on a pension suck my dong
