It sucks, but not like it was a horrendous suckout. But given the circumstances it was pretty bad.

It's not so much the odds, more the fact that he calls with KT and wins

It's the fact that after he calls that he's going to have 18kish chips left and that's a very very small amount compared to the rest of the field and it would put him in 10th place instead of being able to clearly cruise into the money and final table.
