Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |

there's some brilliancy to this play
third diamond comes, you check, he bets. to me this is the point at which I realize he thinks he has no way to win other than making you fold, so the shove is probably a good one against the right player (if he has a marginal hand he's checking, if he has the diamonds he's probably not betting the turn, so it's either an unlikely heavy river bet with a set or air, great chances of air)
that doesn't account for your flat call on the turn, though, which I think was just absolutely horrible, followed by the maybe even worse check on the river
if you're going to float the flop out of position with a weak hand, you need to either check/raise the turn or frontbet the river if he checks behind. the way you played the hand only makes sense if you know he has air before the river, and that's a gross assumption to make there's just no way you're even close to being accurate enough on that (unless there's some insane recent history with the guy playing very loose pf and two-barrelling every pot) |

felt pretty confident his range on the turn was wide and he was trying to represent the K, but you are probably rite |
