Posts 5987 his reasoning (imo): preflop: wanna see flop flop: i could hit a gutshot on turn, gotta call turn: wow, a gutshot, i must see the river river: nice, hit a pair, this guys betting on every street is surely a pure bluff, gotta call him there is a light at the end of the tunnel... (but sometimes the tunnel is long and deep as hell)
