First all 3 of them call with crap preflop.

Then one of them slowplays the nuts till showdown.

I don't get it, can anyone explain?

It's not that crazy as it looks imho. He tried slow play but failed. There are still 3 other players in the hand, there's a chance that someone will catch something on the river and waste his money, as with two pair he has him virtually beaten. By betting the river he's giving himself almost no chance to earn any more money in this hand.
One thing to consider is: how many fishes are going to call a, lets say, 2$ bet on the river? I would call it with AcKc when the turn is a second T and noone bets

This is the old problem of: They can't call if you don't bet.

I <3 this guy, and hope to play with him.

Good... Bad... Im the guy with the Gun.

Well, I surely could, but I'm here to learn and get rid of 'bad plays'. I can't if I won't tell you what do I think about problems, so I won't. And, by saying "omg, I don't understand wtf is going on" you are not giving any clues to me or anyone.

My point (something my post had at least) was is it better to bet and hope someone will call (so you want to bet a small amout of money) or make a room for a mistake like betting the river and hoping to win the hand because noone calls, while there's a monster hand waiting.

If you believe that there's a caller, than of course - it's a big mistake not to call. But he is first to act, he has to make decision. It's not that funny that he made bad one (at least that's what I think you were trying to say by "please be quiet".

This is not a hand to learn from, this is purely entertaining.

YOu know what he should've done?

Fold preflop.

Checkraise flop, well no-one bet so that's ok.

Bet turn 1/2 pot.

Valuebet river.

GsOne   Poland. Feb 28 2006 15:16. Posts 732

I know that if he's going to play tight (or - just good) he should fold pre-flop.

Trying to check-raise is a good thing - he tried.

Bet turn 1/2 flop - that's probably (or - surely) good idea. And yeah - I didn't know that. If that's funny to you - ok, no prob. But I still think it's worth considering playing just like he did - trying to check-raise once more, cause it's not likely to get a call here.

And it's not funny either way imho, even if he was playing BAAAD.
If you can tell me why it's just simply very bad, i would appreciate it, cause playing on early position is a very tricky thing.

If you cant see whats bad with his play maybe you should consider quiting poker and never look back.

He called a preflopraise with a worthless hand. Then his miraclecards flop and he checks all the way, even at the river!

As I can see you're a gosu while I'm a noob (or you just think you're gosu, but anyway I'm still a noob), and I'm talking so much bullshit that you're simply amazed. To your information - there are lot's of people who don't understand why you should bet 1/2 pot on the turn (even if they are doing so) whith that hand, and some of them would like to know why, not just "haha you're retarded to think otherwise". I'm going to get some sleep, so don't bother responding. Especially if all you can say is ............ And I'm not feeling embarrased that I don't know something and I'm trying to get some advice.

uhm i gave advice, then you argue over my advice

what the hell

GsOne   Poland. Feb 28 2006 15:54. Posts 732

I'm quitting poker just when I loose all the money I made with it. With this advice you're like a) you don't know what you're talking about but the other players say it's good so you'll say so too
b) you're are lazy as hell and don't want to give any advice other than "it's bad play, he should just do bla bla, while I'm asking you why it's so.

You were not starting to play poker right? You just woke up some morning, went to casino and won a bag of money, and you are doing like this everyday.

I have absolutely no clue what you're talking about, neither what you want.
