It's interesting that he didn't raise you on the flop. Kind of looks like he's afraid of you having KK/AA here. He kind of looks like he's sitting there praying you have AQ/AK/JJ. I might bet strong on the turn if I was confident in that read, and confident in the player laying QQ down on this board knowing he has no fold equity with 2/3's of your stack already in the pot, but of course the reality is he could easily have KK/AA on this board and be waiting for your bet so he can simply push over top. The only reason I would discount those holdings is because he didn't try to raise you on the flop which I think AA/KK almost always do. I mean who really wants to see a QJK/QJA pop up on the turn if they have AA/KK. QQ and JJ are much more likely to play the unsure/calldown line. As played this is probably fine. |
