a check raise on the flop in a multiway pot might put you in a difficult spot if he elects to just call, because you will be oop on the turn (both semi-deepstacked).
but the check raise is really bad imo, because you either give a free card or stack off frequently to T9, JQ (i think you see one of those a really decent amount of time). essentially this is a bluff (he might laydown AJ or a fd i guess) with 20% insurance. |
