If he just bets he gets called by all hand that beats him. If he check/raises he pushes away a load of hands that beat him and valuebets, and get money from hands that he beat from the beginning that bluffs. Hm feel like I could formulate it better, but fock it.

if u were trying to check raise turn with a monster and fail, u should probably check the river again because basically anything snake is calling on river he is probably betting. after the queen fell rheagar felt that his hand was no good (probably to AQ, KQ, QJ) and decided to win the pot he needed to bluff
