Tough to put him on the K here. After he called flop I knew. I just wasn't going to not cap the betting with all the money in already, re-pop this all-in PF?

Not sure if what I did was right here.. but I wanted the guy to my lefts money in so I flatted.. poor play?

hmm you would have lost anyway, KK wouldn't have folded pf if you pushed

you flatting actually got you the extra caller pf, but that also means another chance to get your aces cracked, because he is obviously calling knowing one of you have QQ - AA, and he wants to flop something big (trips etc) , he will only give you action on the flop if he does so

so i would reraise / push preflop to reduce my bad beat chance, and if i'm running really good i might try and get some extra money in the pot by flatting and slowplaying flop, going berserk on turn / river --> much more risk

Poker is fun.

But then them munies woulda gone in when he's ahead, no? That's result oriented thinking. He doesn't want him to fold preflop but he wants him to fold on flop. All very basic stuff.
