should I have gotten all the money in on the flop? I feel like the smooth call cost me the rest of his stack

arya, can you explain what I could have done better?

Well you could have raised some (minimum or a bit more), the guy already called something, he would've probably called more as well. I would've wanted to make a feeling bet on turn as well - him calling the flop I'd put him on a six or flush draw and since he doesn't bet anything, I'd probably feel it out with smallish valuebet, people at these limits tend to call anyway instead of reraising so if you feel uncertain, you might check behind on the river, but in case he's still drawing to the flush, you've just given him a freecard.

One thing that I also thought about a bit was... why bet all-in on the river? What is he going to call you with that you have beat?

Floofy says: my dick is easily bigger than 90% of guys i checked it on the net | Floofy says: i im also doing movements

sorry i should've explained.

there's reasons why you bet on the river...

a) you want him to call because your hand is better
b) you want him to fold because his hand is better

you can accomplish a) by either overbetting (representing a bluff) or betting a small amount because his hand isnt that strong

the only hands that call you are ones that beat you. MAYBE 98 or 87 call, but highly doubtful. most likely, 77 88 99 or 6x will call and you will lose. at these limits i don't see them folding that hand if they have it.

so in this situation, i'd probably check-call. betting all in is the worst play.
