Ummm, was that a retarded moment to try and bluff, or is it just me?

no it's not a bad moment

he thought Tom had nothing and bluffed at the pot with his pair of 5's after he checked on turn. He just played his position well, too bad Tom did have TPTK (for him that is).

yeah i woulda called anyway i was too commited.

A first i Put him on a pair + flush draw the pair being jack cause i had the Kc i knew he didnt have the king - the jack seemed to really exite him but I figured he would check river thats why i flat called the turn afte rthe riverbet i thought maybe he can have trips but it was too late

you can't fold that river after calling the 70 on the turn cuz its pretty much the best card you can get as well. i think i might have folded the turn bet after that smooth call on the flop though. good call on the turn
