Anyway, a couple of observations:
1) Raise preflop
2) Call the raise on the river, it'd be wrong not to bet this, but when you face a reraise, I'd say you're up against the ace more often than not (since it's 4 to a flush on the board).
Furthermore, if you had played this properly, you would've lost the minimum...
I mean you going nuts on the river gave him at LEAST the winnings he would've gotten by reraising you on the turn (which he didn't and that makes him a bit stupid if you ask me). In fact, had I been that A4s guy, I might've tried raising on the flop. I assume it's the overcalls he was going for here, but I don't think it's wise (as we can see, he only got in one more SB for it and seeing how you played it, he would've gotten freakishly nice value for it if he had raised the turn as well)...
Sooooo.... This hand was so far from perfect or even good, no matter how you look at it so you shouldn't blame the cards, blame yourself. |
