I think you have to realize you are making marginal mistakes all the time, even if the situations you are getting isnt easy. In this hand you hope he got AA AK and will call your push, but its v likely he got QQ or KK too.. To be sure that you get action if he got AK for example, maybe its better to flat and push a safe turn.

well you're 100% right zanjong, I am making a lot of marginal mistakes i think too. But in this specific hand i dont see myself folding this hand ever and i dont see this guy folding AA or AK ever here.

Should I say call flop to entice (good word?) action from worse hands than QQQ and KKK...

There isnt many draws he can represent either, like JT only one.

Baal you arent listening to me, I am not saying to fold this for 1 buy in, but to consider playing it so you get value from weaker hands. comprende?

Big_rob I am sorry if I was talking harsh, I have been in the same boat as you, dropping 15-20 buy ins on one session, and you cant accept you are making "so-so" plays, cuz of ur ego. But cool you understand that sometimes you just gotta "pitch it!" (the session)

Is it just me or is the weak flop bet a give away? This guy re-raised you almost 3.5x pre-flop, I say he either has AA or KK honestly.

And your pre-flop call just for set value was horrid.

I have always wanted to quote myself. - Me
