he limped UTG i dont really see him having a hand that can call a turn bet other than 33 or a flush. i mean he's not likely to have AQ/AJ/AT/A9 so i probably check behind, he could have a suited ace he decided to limp UTG but if that's the case he'll probably check river (or bet if he has A3/A2 cause he now has 2 pair) and you can value bet. on the river he just shoves, from some people this could definitely be 33/flush, but MOST people dont just shove here with those hands, they wanna get value and bet like 1/2 pot - full pot so i prolly call river even though there's not a great deal of missed draws (just gutshots), I guess it's possible he had A2s/A3s and decided to shove it on river, i dunno really. |

Also you induced this bluff by checking the turn (another good thing about checking the turn - if you actually call the bluff that is). When you checked the turn he figured you were scared of the flush THUS he shoved with nothing, if he had the flush he would've bet smaller because in his mind you don't have much thus if he shoves he won't be getting called, whereas he may be getting called if he bets smaller. |
