i had this situation before and the donk had AA ;-/

I sometimes fold AA preflop to balance my range

Already had 2 limpers before him, AA is just screaming to die in that situation with plan limping to flop. I can understand them doing it when they are first to act though i dont do it very often at all myself.

This one was just screaming TT/99/JJ.

do you have any kind of read on this guy? seems kinda stupid for AA/KK to play this way but i've seen it enough times played like this people just go all in preflop because they are "afraid to be sucked out"...

Nothing wrong with folding thou... seems like 50/50 call
