well, it doesnt matter how hard u bet, u r not going to bet out someone with top pair and flush draw on the flop. once he calls the big bet on the flop(which he will), he will be pot commited, and have the right pot odd to call the big bet at the turn. and still bea t you at the river.

That doesn't mean his play was good though.

raise a shit load more on the turn, board looks dangerous and could easily make your hand second best on the river
