i cant imagine that pushing on that turn is the right move... im only getting called by hands that beat me, cept maybe KK with Kd...

all other overpairs fold, sets call, flushes that hit call, straights that hit call... of course its been beat into me that any bet other than all-in here is fishy, but im also pretty sure my all-in is a bad move... any good tournament players just check here? theres 6 scarecards (any 5 or 9, except 5d and 9d), but i guess they arent TOO scary cuz very few 9s or 4s see this flop with the preflop action, and 44 folds the flop. any advice?

you even have the AD very little to worry about here.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

hmm never tried that RaSZi, ill give that move a try sometime, thanks. im pretty aggressive when i have a hand, but this is probably a good time to try slightly slowplay and see if he turns up his aggression a bit

ya TalentedTom, i mean the board isnt TOO scary, which is why im thinking that checking the turn might be the correct move. itll get TT-KK to bet into me, and i can stack them, when TT JJ and probably QQ would all fold to my push

i guess my point is - I am getting all-in on this hand. If they have me beat, I will double them up, and cry about it.
But what is the best way to get worse hands to get all-in with me?

I like checking the flop too, and also doing the weak lead on the turn.

check turn, then push when he bets (or pushes)

most of the time you'll have the best hand, and if you don't you can still win with a diamond or ace on the river

point is to try to get it all in on the turn
