Should I have folded pf or at the flop without any read on him?
After having called, I thought that there were too many big PP that had me beat on this spot. |

I think the preflop call is ok but on that kind of flop you will only get action from hands that are dominating you. The re-raise preflop means JJ,QQ,KK,AA etc...so the only HPPs that didnt hit that flop (JJ) arent going to play that flop and the ones that do hit that flop destroy you. Plus your opponent in this case is going to put you on a hand that connected with that flop.
I say flat call that bet and check/fold the turn unless you improve to a full house because then you get lots of value from KK/QQ. Since he is so shortstacked though even if you boat up your only get paid off like 20 bucks and your chance of hitting a boat is low so a fold probably works better, if this were deepstacked it would be a different story.
Ignore this if this guy re-raises alot with KQ or AQ but I doubt that is the case.. |

if I call and checkfold turn, I should as well fold flop, he is too shortstacked to get sufficient implied odds for a 6 outer full. And if I flat call, I give a free card to JJ or TT for the straight.
I think folding was the best option there indeed.
But as he was shortstacked, I thought his reraising rnage was a lot broader. |
