I have position and the board is pretty dry. By raising i effectivly scare away any hand that is behind me donkbetting like that. I dont want to prevent him from putting in more money when he is behind.

sure, he hit his 7 outer here but he didnt even stack me and im convinced that flatting flop is definitely the most +ev play.

If you are going to flat the flop, why are you not betting the turn here? What kind of read do you have on villain?

please tell me what part of his range you think pays me off when i raise the flop. If i was oop its another thing but I dont really get why I should let him play perfect when i can abuse him with position.

I didnt say you should raise flop, I think I agree with you, especially because he min raised utg.Only hand he could have that pays you off and you are still ahead is probably AK. I am just asking what read you have on him and why no bet on the turn when he leads on the flop then checks the turn.

sry that last comment wasnt directed at you. The queen was kind of a scare for me since i suspected his range was pretty wide including KQ and other monkey hands. The turn check is also really weird after a donklead on flop so i felt it was either a monster or very little. Im not all that happy anout mu river call but im not sure i can fidn a fold there when my hand is so underrepresented.

I agree on raising flop. It really looks like we are ahead, so why not put in more money, make QJ pay for drawing, and charge a badly played AT KJ KQ. And I dont think that the board is "pretty dry". There is a ton of gutshots/openenders that will hit, and its hard for you to know wheter you are good or not.

Also, if you call you are telling him you got a pretty good hand.. at least JJ QQ. But if you raise you could have jackshit aswell.

I think you should definitely raise here simply because he will not fold KQ or JQ to a moderate sized raise. You need to build a pot and you don't want to give draws infinite odds correct?

If the board was K83 I would agree.
