i put him on AA-JJ but didnt know what was max EV here... call and push the turn, or push here?

I think i push flop i mean he already put like 1/3 his chips in and looks like hes not letting go of it.

basically youre getting him to put more of his money in

I think u get less FE on turn given that a safe card for him turns so he might call a push / push there

anyways he put in half of effective stack already, you're OK to flat here if you intend to get it in anyways(he's probably drawing to two outs or he's got AcKc which is very strong here).

Personally i'd push here as well as flatcalling here looks as strong as pushing in my opinion(as both say that you probably will want to get your money in anyways with a turn and river to come).

only time id flat here is if opponent likes to run big bluffs, in which case c/rai @ turn becomes an option

Yeah, if you don't know your opponent much, just push it.
