Maybe I dont need advice.. Maybe a new pair of balls would do the trick. I guess I will get used to these beefy tables though :O
Anyway I guess calling is the best move here? |

8-9 into a $20 pot? I be damned.. Im used to betting 2/3 or 3/4 of the pot on the flop.. maybe a little less in these beefy pots. |

I'd call.
If you know the guy there's various other options, as always. Which include both folding and coming over the top. |

its knowing your player here, is he the type to call a $5 preflop raise with mid pair 8's or 6's when his stack is above a $100.
if not, forget the set. if he's called with an ace and is lucky enough to have the diamonds A10d AJd AQd etc then im paying him off if he hits another,(odds are still for you that he wont hit)
if he hasnt raised u pre flop then i wouldnt put him on AA either, but again, its always knowing your opponents play here

why fold???? |
Because Ive played like a fucking idiot in most hands today, and this one was no exception. Its like some sort of subconcious tilt, I dont know. NL $50 it is now anyway.
I shouldve gone to bed instead of posting this hand. Was too early though :[ |

mmm i dont think a flush draw is very likely, seeing as how his opponent doesn't have the Ad and probably wouldn't semi-bluff with at best a K high to go with his flush draw.
but you never know... |
