question is do i bet here? he did raise on the turn, but that could mean 88 77 or a bluff, but also a J
edit: and if i was to bet, i doubt 77 88 are going to call, and AA/KK probably would have pushed at river. the check is strange. so basically if i bet (like 1/2 the pot) the only call i'm going to get is MAYBE from 88, but probably not. it doesn't seem like betting here is +ev |

very interesting hand. in my opinion, your opponent most likely does not have the J because i don't see him check/calling with top pair on the flop. i would bet.
what happened? what did he have? |

well i bet out $120 and he folded.
but while i was betting, it seemed like a -ev move since the hands that beat me would push, and the hands that i beat would probably fold (except maybe 99 and TT but he didn't seem to have those) |

ah, T9, didnt see that. very very likely.
in answer to your question about the turn, i would have folded on the turn. QQ isn't beating much at that point: including xJ, T9, 88, 77. |
