Posts 8665 if you think he has a flush draw make him pay while he's still drawing, even if hes drawing dead. maybe only bet 5$ on turn so he'll draw for cheap, this is still a lot better than checking imo. checking for deception is generally very bad practice, except in very rare circumstances where it may be appropriate, i think always bet every street with good hands since you need to control pot size and make it as big as possible when you have monsters.
